Danny
Shepherd's Alaska Portal
The brilliant writer Danny K. Shepherd is known as Mr. Kingfish. Danny was a friend and neighbor of
Lt. Col. John Lappo. Danny graciously allowed me to publish his well written story of the life of John
Lappo, one of the most interesting stories I have ever read. Danny is anenthusiastic outdoorsman that
enjoys hunting and fishing in Alaska. A family man, Navy background, he represents the best America
has to offer.

United States Air Force Museum
The United States Air Force Museum has the most important and largest collection
of aircraft in the world. Located in Dayton, Ohio, their newly finished buildings store a most valuable

YF-22, B-2, B-36, B-29 Box Car, XC-99, B-1A, F-117A, B-58A, SR-71A, U-2, XB-70, and hundreds more, magnificently
restored. I have visited the museum over a dozen times, it is a photographers paradise. A massive building
campaign is nearing completion to house most of these priceless aircraft. Join "THE FRIENDS OF
